You will learn game management, rules, positioning, and communication. You'll also gain confidence, leadership skills, and a deeper appreciation for the game.
To become an Umpire, you'll need to complete a training program that usually includes rules and mechanics training. Not all training programs are created equal, so be sure to choose one that is reputable and provides comprehensive instruction.
There are many fine Umpire traning programs out there, but if you're looking to really learn the game, we recommend you fill out the interest form above. Our training team will review your submission and see if you're a good fit for one of clinics. We will then conduct a phone interview to assess your communication skills and passion for the game. If selected, you'll be invited to attend one of our various training programs.
